"Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more." (John 5:14).

I know many people point to this verse and say that, after we become saved we should become sinless, holy and perfect in the sight of God and fellow humans. But the fact of the matter is, the moment a individual chooses to see himself as sinner and Jesus as his Savior, at that moment of belief a eternal miracle happens. They become saved from sin and have forever become the child of God for eternity ahead. This is the calling from Jesus that He gives us after salvation as a choice to choose, a will to exercise and an individual mind led by the Spirit to live in the center of the will of God. The wholeness of spirit, soul and body that Jesus has chosen to save us and give us for eternity ahead is something that can only be retained through our willing surrender of our day to day life to our Savior.

When Jesus said, "Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more", he did not command a sinner to live a sinless life of perfection as it is a impossibility to all humans except Jesus who was born without sin and lived without sin, and who remains the epitome of perfection is the one and only person who is able to keep us perfect before God and fellow humans. When Jesus tells us to live perfectly without sin after we are saved, it does mean that Jesus is able to keep us perfect in spite of our imperfections that comes up now and then because of our sin nature.

So what is your notion of perfection in your spiritual life? Is it a sinless perfection or a perfection that is attained by the covering of the blood of Jesus over your spirit, soul and body which restores and retains our perfection before God and humans now and for eternity ahead. If we are expecting a sinless perfection in our spiritual life, we will be in for a surprise as our righteousness will be like filthy rags which cannot cover our sin, shame and shallow spiritual life in perfection and therefore our works for God will become a debt to pay to God rather than be a gift to enjoy from God and also be rewarded for it later in our after life. Only when the faith in the blood of Jesus gets active in our life through our confession of sins and resistance of sin by the same faith, we will come to know that not only we were made whole when we were saved for the first time but also kept whole by God for the rest of our eternity after we are saved. Glory to God!

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank you and praise you for saving me in Christ Jesus once and for all time from sin, self and death due to its wages. The most precious gift I have in this life and in the life to come is THE PRECIOUS BLOOD OF YOUR SON JESUS CHRIST who is OUR LORD & SAVIOR who daily cleanses me from sin and keeps me whole again in my spirit, soul and body. Today I pray for my family, friends and all those who will come to know about you through all of us, keep us all whole for your glory in JESUS wonderful and mighty name! AMEN!

"I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd gives His life for the sheep." (John 10:11).

When a dangerous situation arises for the sheep that the shepherd is looking after, immediately the first response of him will be based on whether he is the owner or a hireling who just takes care of it for a meager earning. If someone is a real owner of the sheep, he will be ready to lose even his own life for the sheep's life that is at stake. If someone who takes care of the sheep is a hireling, they will not risk their own life just for the sake of the sheep, because to them their own life is more important than the lives of the sheep.

We know that the world has been managed by good and evil angels since the beginning of the world under the sovereignty of God. The evil angels started to micromanage the lives of people and receive the worship of humans that belong to God and God alone towards themselves. When people started to sin against God and incurred the wrath of God for their sinful behavior due to their wrong belief, these angels ran away from these people and even sadistically began to create more fear in order to demoralize them from believing a good God and instead projected a cruel death mongering God who is out there to kill people because of His cruelty.

When Jesus as the only begotten Son of God came to reveal the true good God to humans, he chose to sacrifice his own life on the Cross for their sins and took the wrath of God upon Himself. When God was appeased satisfactorily of his demand for justice by the death of the sinless Son of God, God made a covenant with Jesus and through Him that all humans can be forgiven based on whether they are able to believe Him and accept Him as their own substitute. Thus Jesus from that time became our Shepherd to guide us back to the true God who created us for His own purpose. Now Jesus wants us to believe rightly about a good God who has created us all for Himself and His Glory so that we can live rightly and stay blessed for the rest of the eternity before us. Are you ready? You are asking me for what? To live a heaven sized abundant life on earth itself for the Glory of God. Praise the Lord. Amen!

LET US PRAY: Dear Heavenly Father, You are good and you do always good to us even when we have been misled by gods that led us to our own destruction. Help us live abundantly for your own glory, a life of heaven on earth. In Jesus name I Pray. AMEN!

"Knowledge puffs up, but love edifies." (1 Cor.8:1).

The Word of God thunders saying, "In the last of the last days knowledge and travel shall increase in a humongous way." (Dan 12:4). We know that we are in the last of the last days because, we see right before our eyes the steep increase of the technological innovation and how travel has affected the whole globe and has made it to become a common thing for all people around the world. Today's cellphone becomes old model in a matter of days and weeks. The latest vehicle lasts for a couple of weeks and a month, before which a entirely new innovation takes it to the back seat. Through the internet the common man knows and have knowledge today more than what highly educated people of great intellectual capacity used to know and have. School children know more than their teachers in general knowledge and they have the technical know how to handle the latest electronic gadgets. Amazing!

But on the other side, today's generation have come to the state where they do not want to submit to their parents and choose to challenge their authority over them. The same happens in political and religious circle. This also happens in the legal circle too. God never blesses rebellion and all the leaders whether it is political, legal or religious, are appointed by God. Only when a person stands against the Word of God, we have the authority from God not to submit to their ways as we see in the Book of Daniel and in the Acts of the Apostles.

In our generation, the 'I know it all and you do not have to tell me what to do', is a dangerous rebellious trend that have the evil power to make our head puff up with full of pride. A human who thinks that he knows it all, will grow no further in wisdom but to go forward in foolishness and have a great fall like humpty dumpty. The antidote to pride is to humble movement by movement our need for God's grace and mercies before Him, and fall to his feet to receive His love and give it to others in the same way we receive from Him. Love edifies our mind, because love is not just a feeling that comes and goes, but rather it is the person of God who is Love. Love has been show to us in Christ Jesus who has become the embodiment of it and a visible one and only God to all of us humans. The more we want to see God, the more we want to walk with Jesus and suffer with Him.

LET US PRAY SAINTS:

Dear Heavenly Father,

I thank you and praise you for all the grace and mercies you have shown me and my family thus far in my life. Thank you for pouring out your love day in and day out within my spirit and speaking to me face to face through your Word and your Spirit. Help me hear your voice and walk in your love, so that I may show the same love and mercy you have shown me to others around me whom you bring in to contact with by your divine will and wisdom. Help me to stay humble and walk with you till the end of my life on earth, so that I can be greatly rewarded and honored for it through the rest of my eternity with you. In Jesus wonderful name I pray! Amen.

Today's Bible Verse To Ponder Over

"And now abide faith, hope, love, these three." (1 Cor.13:13).

The greatest virtues that God gives from heaven as a Jewel upon us to make us exhibit His character are so many that we cannot count it with our finite mind. Every good Character that we experience can only come from the God who is the only good person in the entire Universe. In others words, whatever goodness we have, we are and we become can only come from the standard set by God who defines what goodness is to us humans. Sometimes we acknowledge it, at other times we take it for granted as though it is by our own effort we have developed it.

Sometimes the greatest weakness we might have in life is to not acknowledge the source we receive our goodness, (i.e.) to acknowledge that God is the one who gives all virtues of His to us and beautifies us. Life is a test where we have the choice to acknowledge the Teacher to give back the credit and honor that He rightly deserves, or we can take it upon ourselves and fill our mind with pride enough to lead us to fall soon from the grace that we have experienced freely from God. God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble.

We access all grace through faith in the present, but when we are in the process of the anvil, where we are extremely heated by fiery trials and suddenly thrown in to watery flood of temptations by God's loving providence, the future has nothing but only hope against hope to see the goodness of God in the land of the living. But through it all when we come to the end of it all bringing to Him nothing but our broken life to God, there He will quieten us with His love equal to the past suffering that our soul and spirit has experienced through our walk with God. Then the end of faith, hope and love is the face to face encounter we experience with God in His Love which is wider than the ocean, deeper than the deepest sea and higher than the tallest mountain we have on earth as it will qualify us for a heavenly reward for eternity ahead! Love is the greatest of all because God is Love. The very personality of God starts with Love and ends in His Love. So as we love God, let us with that same Love we receive from Him, share it with others to bring heaven on earth for the Glory of God!
