Apostolic Quotes

Å℘◎﹩☂øł☤ḉ ℚυ◎тℯṧ : — "When true faith is preached, many untaught and unstable people people mistakenly take it as a licence to sin because they never understood the true mystery of faith that is as mysterious as the God who gives it." — Abraham Israel

Art of Living #35

Åґ☂ ◎ḟ ʟ☤√ḯη❡ #35 : "For the good that I will to do, I do not do; but the evil I will not to do, that I practice." (Rom 7:19).
Ѧ℘☺﹩☂◎łḯ¢ €ϰ℘øüηḓ : This preceding statement from one of the greatest apostle of all time and a mighty man of God is absolutely stunning. Here Paul is so open and transparent to confess that he has a strong will and a desire from his spirit-man to do the will of God. But says that every time he tries to do, he is not doing it. Instead something evil that he desires not to do, he was doing it and practicing. This shows that there is a constant conflict in the life of all true men and women of God. We try to do good and fulfill the will of God for our lives, but end up doing exactly the opposite of what we desired to do. This is a great encouragement for all of us who are trying to do the perfect will of God. Many times we break our head to be perfect, and end up doing and praticing evil that we have told that we will not do a thousand times to ourselves and to God. What is happening?

We have all been sold to sin in Adam our forefather in the garden of Eden (Rom 7:14). The new spirit that God has put within us is perfect (Eph 4:24), but the soulish-man in all of us is "unspiritual, sold as a slave to sin". As we sin and practice evil unwillingly, many times in desperation we cry to God, 'O Lord, is there any hope for a sinner like me?' That is when God comes in to say that we have no condemnation because we are in Christ Jesus (Rom 8:1). The moment we say that we have sinned to God, on that same moment God faithfully and justfully forgives it and starts to renew us in the path of abundant life (1 John 1:9, John 10:10). Those who live in condemation are those have still not learnt to believe the word of God and live in unbelief or they might have chosen to let their soulish heart to become hardened in the "deceitfulness of sin" (Heb 3:13). The more we as born again believers feed in to sin, the more sin will never satisfy, instead it will surely bring unrest and condemnation from the evil one (Isa. 57:20). Still after God gives us assurance of forgiveness and rest, still we try to perfect ourselves by our strength many times and begin to think that our Father God will become pleased only when we stop struggling with this sin cycle.

But actually it is the opposite that WORKS WELL with our Father. Our Father God sees all believers as accepted in the Beloved and as complete in Christ Jesus (Eph 1:6; Col 2:10). In other words according to our Father God, we need no performance to please Him because He is already pleased perfectly because we have accepted Jesus as our Lord and Saviour and have therefore placed us in Christ Jesus. He wants us to progressively understand that in our weakness we are made complete in Christ Jesus (2 Cor 12:9-10). This is the reason Christianity and true faith is the most mysterious paradox (1 Tim 3:9)! All our life when we keep renewing our soul in our weakness, our spirit-man will grow to become more powerful to rule our soul and fulfill the destiny that God has planned beforehand to unfold before us day after day (Eph 3:16-17). WE START TO LOVE GOD MORE WHEN WE REALISE THAT IN OUR NATURAL WEAKNESS, GOD AS A MERCIFUL FATHER OF US NEVER FAILS TO GIVE US HIS POWER AND DELIVERS US FROM THIS BODY OF DEATH THROUGH JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD. God the Father is able to seperate the sin from the old discarded sinner we have been and sees His Perfect righteous child in us who long after His Perfection (Matt 5:48). So the next time you struggle to practice the good will of God and instead do evil unwillingly, the culprit is the sin nature that dwells within you (Rom 7:20). Confess to God immediately and begin to again hold on to the great truth of all time, "I'AM COMPLETE IN CHRIST JESUS".

GOD THE MASTER BUILDER IS IN CONTROL

The Lord creates create calamity when people desire sin more than the righteousness of the kingdom of God. Sin is a reproach to any nation (Prov 14:34). When sin comes Calamity takes place. The Lord Himself does not tempt anybody by instigating evil, but man is tempted by His own evil nature within, which brings confusion and calamity upon themselves (James 1:13-14). The devil will try and use his best to destroy man when God allows it to happen (John 10:10). The Lord is not the author of confusion but a sovereign Lord who creates calamity when He authorizes it (1 Cor 14:33). Much Blessings...
