Apostolic Interpretation






Å℘◎﹩ṫℴℓḯ¢ ℐηṫℯяρяεṫαṫḯℴη : "10 Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness, 11 while you are enriched in everything for all liberality, which causes thanksgiving through us to God." (2 Cor 9:10-11).

When we have big enough heart to give and give out all the time, we will be made rich without any lack so that God can supply the needs of others through us. The channel through which water flows continuously will always be wet enough to feed all the trees within its zone. When we bless others, we cannot stay without being blessed. When God blesses many through us, remember it first reaches to us and only then it reaches through us. When we give to others in their need as directed by the Lord, it always causes thanksgiving towards God from those who receive them. This will again cause God's hand to open itself over our lives in a greater and greater measure causing a chain reaction of great prosperity in our lives.

Spiritual blessing is the highest of all blessing and Paul the Apostle was saying in the above verses that God exchanges your physical seed of money which you sow in to the need of the kingdom of God and converts it in to the highest order of spiritual blessings to give it back to you as the fruits of your righteousness which will stay with you for eternity ahead. Yet Paul claims that the money we sow in to the kingdom is not our own but is given by God to us in order to make us understand that God's kingdom doesn't need our money if we think it as our own. God is not in lack of finance to forward His cause and fulfill His purpose as He says that the earth is the Lord's and all its fullness, the world and those who dwell therein (Psa 24:1). But when God gives us money, He expects us to recognize it as a opportunity to make a eternal achievement through supplying our money for the saints and the kingdom needs of the temporal realm. It is once in a lifetime opportunity to make a difference in the lives of people and cause great thanksgiving to ascend towards God. Be a blessing and be blessed! Art of Living #51

Ѧ℘☺﹩☂◎łḯ¢ €ϰ℘øüηḓ : From my childhood days I am born and brought up in a Pastor's family where my parents have always tried to keep word for word from the Bible with great zeal. Even when I was a little baby, the first thing my mother taught me was to say , "...While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." So when I was growing up, we used to refrain from attending schools and buying anything from shops even for groceries on sundays, avoid movies and theatre even when the school takes all the children to entertain them, attend the Church and not miss it for any reasons even if any exams by chance come on that day which is very important to ones career, etc... So I was carrying on externally well until the time came to join my polytechnic college. I was sixteen at that time. There when I joined, I saw people valued the values which are totally opposite to what I believed.

Intially in the first year I had good friends who were worldly in their thinking but were good academically. And one day while going to attend a lecturer's marriage, all of them wanted to go for a movie in the night, so without resisting it I went to accompany them. Even some of them who knew me that I have never seen any movie inside a theater in my life, surprisingly asked me about it, but I just smiled and said 'I do see now.' Soon I thought that it is not at all wrong to go and see movies in the theatre. Even my dad one day told me that he would stop being a preacher and teacher of the word as I have been a bad example to many people, but that didn't bother me a bit but only made me to do all those things secretly. The world became so tempting to me, finally I thought that being a bad boy in the class is the most fashionable thing. What a deception of the devil! But I didn't realise the foolishness of it at that time, so I began to cut the classes and go to many different cinema theatres. My attendance hit the rock bottom and everybody began to see me as a real bad-boy. It is just by the grace of God that I did not get dropped out of my college. As like me coming from a zealous Christian background is good, but the enemy of our soul knows how to make us remove the hedge that is around us with out knowing its value.

But thank God for godly parents, they tried their best to make me understand and stop me from going to such extremes. Once in the afternoon I told my mother that I am going to my friends house and rushed up to see a flim in the afternoon and came back after the show was over in the evening at five. Mother knew very well that I had gone to the cinema theatre. But she never asked me why at that time. Instead my parents prayed for me toward God to keep a supernatural hedge around me like the man of God Job did (Job 1:2-5, 10). I thank God for such prayers because, when the bad friends tried to teach me to smoke, I puffed up for a couple of time and then got irritated to such an extent that I did not want to smoke again. Again I got mocked by the bad company and I again tried to smoke but the same result happened. I really praise God that the effective prayer of righteous people like my Dad and Mom had availed much to stop me further from going in to it (James 5:16). Still I went further in to seeing movies that were immoral and erotic. My mind began to be filled with the gutter and sewerage of the worldly lusts. Soon I lost that childlike thinking that I enjoyed mostly all through my early teens. Little did I realize what I did would take many many years and great chastisement from God for me to come back to Him. Thank God I did come back to Him years later, but wasted years have been wasted forever. I want you to resist the temptation when the world tries to conform you to its whims and fancies. The one mistake I did in my teens was that, I did not allow my mind to be renewed by the word of God in order to be transformed daily during my teen years (Rom12:2), instead my religion was more legalistic to be conformed to my traditional upbringing. So I became a hypocrite and finally lost my precious time in my teen years which could have been used for God. WHEN WE TRY TO CONFORM OURSELVES TO THE WORLDLY PEOPLE, ALL OUR GOOD AND GODLY MORAL HABITS WILL SOON BECOME CORRUPTED TO THE EXTENT WE WILL BECOME USELESS TO GOD AND HIS PURPOSE. I pray that the Lord might help us all in the coming days to renew our mind daily with the word of God and be transformed day by day in to the likeness of JESUS OUR LORD! May God help us to choose friends whom He brings by divine appointment, who will work with us to fulfill His divine purpose for our lives. May God help us not to choose friends by our fleshly decision to please our own self, who will take us further and further away from God and His purposes for our lives. May our life be a sweet fragrance to our Heavenly Father who has loved us with an everlasting love.

Many people whom I usually meet with will tell their problems to find relief. But one thing I notice often with many people is that they will hear back God's guidance from me only as much as it is believable to them based on what they believe God can do for them. In other words, each person has the spiritual capacity to take in God's promises and prophecies only as much as they have a relationship with God and retain a experiential knowledge of God. We cannot go to receive from God what we cannot believe. Believing with one's mind is one thing, but believing with one's heart is altogether another thing. We can only receive as much as we can believe God can do to us and through us to many others. This is the reason God exhorts us again and again to develop a living trust toward Him and His word daily, and not just lean on the understanding which we have with our logical mind.

Our logical mind will always look at the circumstances to suggest whether something can be believed or not. In other words, only if we are able to touch, smell, taste, see and hear something tangibly, then the natural soulish mind will send a signal to the central system to take in the information as believable. Our minds will look for ways in which God will fulfill His promises and in the time in which He will do it. But God gives no such information out until he really sees that we are believing and are already walking in the way that he has instructed us. So sometimes the easy way to believe God's plan for our lives is to acknowledge that He is good and that He is working even through the bad things and circumstances of our lives to fulfill His good purpose in the end. ONCE WE ACKNOWLEDGE THE SOVEREIGN CONTROL OF GOD OVER OUR LIVES, GOD WILL GIVE US ENOUGH FAITH TO BELIEVE HIS PLANS AND WALK IN IT WITH MUCH JOY, PEACE AND PRAISE AS HE DIRECTS US PERSONALLY.

Dead bodies cannot speak, see, smell, eat, walk or hear anything. So also if our spiritual faith does not move us to live like our God who is in heaven, then it is not a real faith but a counterfeit. So we ought to be careful enough to check whether our faith is genuine or not through the change, transformation and fruit that we will be able to see in our lives (Matt 7:18). If you find out that your faith is not genuine, immediately seek God for the real one that saves you for eternity ahead by the power of God through Jesus Christ (2 Cor 13:5-6; Heb 5:9). Until you know that you are saved for eternity don't give God rest, God will always answer a desperate man immediately unlike for half hearted seekers. The Holy Spirit will speak and confirm your salvation in the inner most being of your spirit-man inside you (Rom 8: 16; 1 John 3:24).

Apostolic Expound




Ѧ℘☺﹩☂◎łḯ¢ €ϰ℘øüηḓ :"The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise." (Psa 51:17).

Broken heart and a broken spirit are the inheritance of those who sincerely want to do the will of God for their lives. When we walk in the will of God, we will face demonic opposition that will break us. When we walk in the will of God, we will have to face temptations that might seriously cause us to grieve when we fail in it and humbly learn to approach the throne of grace to overcome it in our lives. When we are broken by our limitation and weaknesses, that is the place where we will learn what it is to be humble before God and men. How does God respond to the humble people? He responds by giving them much grace and lifts them up to LIVE IN HIS GLORY (James 4:6)! In other words, when we come humbly before God expressing our inability to please Him with our own strength, He will never say 'no' to give His power abundantly and to make us walk like He walked on earth. We can only go with God as far as we are humble. May the Lord help us to stay humble and live in His Glory and for His Glory all the days of our life.

Many times as we seek to please God with all our heart, in the passion of our activity we forget that we are doing it by His grace and strength. Then as we settle on with a mind that we have done much for God, then God allows our weaknesses to show up. Then the first question that arises in our mind, are we really worthy to be called a son of a holy God? Like the prodigal son we start to say to God and ourselves, "I am not worthy to be called your son, but at least let me be your servant forever." God in His love for us at that time embraces and starts to say to our heart, "My son it is I who works in you from the day I saved you from sin to the day you will be rewarded for all the good works that you have done in my name. I will love you and stay faithful to keep you in my ways until the end. Just learn to trust me and walk in my ways. You will be safe from all the harms of the enemy." O what a reassurance we get from our Loving Heavenly Father! May we always know that what ever we achieve in our life for God, from the starting to the end it is not our strength but it is God who is doing it to to fulfill His will and good pleasure. When we have this mind set, we will be able to overcome when our weaknesses shows up to discourage us, because of receiving much grace for being humble before God. THE PEOPLE WHO ARE DISCOURAGED IN LIFE DOING GOD'S WORK ARE THOSE WHO DO NOT REALIZE THAT GOD IS THE ONE WHO IS DOING IT THROUGH THEM. The sooner we realize, the faster we will enjoy doing God's work and will consider it as a privilege given to us.

Manna for the Day




ℳαηηα ḟøґ тℌℯ Ðα¥ : "Whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses." (Mark 11:25, NKJV).

The first step that we need to take in order to learn the art of praying is to forgive anything that we have against anybody unconditionally, so that God the Father in heaven may start to commune with us by forgiving our day today sins as we become sinful by the pollution of the world which He actually hates. We are the one who open up the channel for God to commune with us by forgiving others, if we do not do that and keep crying to God to forgive our sins, I bet in a million years we will be in the same position with God. God cannot commune with unforgiving sinful being who are not covered by the blood of Jesus. They may be saved, but are unfit for communion with God until they choose to let go the faults of others which might have been done against them intentionally or unintentionally. Unforgiveness is the worst of all sin that a believer can hold on to, God starts His relationship with us by forgiving us unconditionally through Christ and He expects us to do the same as we have become His beloved children when we were saved. Åґ☂ ◎ḟ ʟ☤√ḯη❡ #50 : "Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable--if anything is excellent or praiseworthy--think about such things." (Phil 4:8, NIV).
Ѧ℘☺﹩☂◎łḯ¢ €ϰ℘øüηḓ : God has given us all a gift that is more valuable than any material blessing that He gives. It cannot be equated with anything material that God provides us because all material blessings of God need to have this gift along with it for any person to really enjoy it on planet earth. By now I think you might have guessed it? It is nothing other than the power of a beautiful mind within us. If the mind in us is filled with beauty and the glory of God, all the world around us becomes beautiful. Have you experienced the miserable times when you have all things that you need with you, but do not have a calm heart to enjoy the things surrounding you and the beautiful environment around you? If you have realized the value of this blessed mind, then you need to know how we can really improve its performance to stay joyful, peaceful and serene all the time.

The blessed Apostle Paul who wrote atleast one third of the whole New Testament developed a blessed mind by the power of God and said the following, "Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate [and think intentionally] on these things." (Phil 4:8). In other words, only when we choose to think on things true, noble, pure, lovely and of good report which is full of the virtue of God's character and power display, worthy of praise to God, then we can be able to little by little increase the performance of our fallen sinful mind to a beautiful blessed mind filled with an incresing level of God's glory! We need discipline and consistency to really attain this blessedness.

Whatever effort or hardship God allows us to go through in order to train us and reward us with a beautiful mind is worth every effort on our part, because the whole world becomes beautiful when our mind starts to think beautifully with the blessed thoughts of God. When we change our thinking, the whole world around us changes instantly. This is the one of the greatest miracle of all. Our mind can think only one thought at a time. When silly, evil, sinful and discouraging thoughts arises in our mind through the influence of our sin nature within, immediately we should make a good choice to replace it with a positive, life-giving, and soul enriching Word of God based thought immediately. God who sees whether we are sincere in our effort to intentinally think on His word in our soul constantly, will start to slowly record those things in our spirit and then give His quickened word from our spirit-man which will become a blessed thought of the moment to replace the sinful and mundane in our soul. After some months and years of hard work, the blessedness of God's glory will start to flow without our effort perpetually. Like a river it starts to constantly flow in to our mind and keeps our soul like a tree planted by the rivers of waters. O what a blessedness! SO KEEP THINKING ON THE GOOD THOUGHTS OF THE WORD OF GOD CONSTANTLY BY MEDITATING AND CHEWING ON IT AS A CUD AGAIN AND AGAIN, UNTIL IT GOES DEEP IN TO YOUR SPIRIT AND COMES OUT OF IT AS A BLESSED THOUGHT FROM THE THRONE OF GOD IN TO YOUR SOUL AGAIN, ANOINTED AND SHINING AS A RAINBOW OUT OF A PRISM. May God help us all to train, discipline ourselves to think intentionally the good thoughts of God and His Word so that we could keep the beautiful mind to be filled with the rainbow of God's glory all the time more and more progressively!

Manna for the Day

The people who had like nature and equal opportunities like us excelled in throwing away the weight of sin that the world system brought in to their lives by their unconquerable faith. The sin of unbelief easily ensnares a person of faith and destroys him from finishing the race with the honor of great eternal reward from God. We see little exploits done for our BIG GOD, because of our lack of BIG FAITH which our Lord loves to provide freely. But when we takes patience as our closest friend and run the race, the same friend will stay to the end and will make sure that we attain the reward God has for us without fail. Say to patience now, 'You are my friend that God has given for a lifetime. I thank God that you will stay with me till we achieve God's plan for my life.' And I bet that you will never miss the finish line of the spiritual faith race that God has set for you without a prize of honor.
