Art of Living #29

Åґ☂ ◎ḟ ʟ☤√ḯη❡ #29 : ‎"Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it." (1 Cor 9:24).

Ѧ℘☺﹩☂◎łḯ¢ €ϰ℘øüηḓ : God has custom designed A RACE FOR US, but it is not the same route for all of us to run alike. The race of life is set for all Christians alike, but all are not given the same way to reach the destination. It is designed uniquely for each person and is different from the path of each other. Gifts and Graces are different for each person, but the reward for faithfully running our own race is for sure the same for each of us ahead. Each born again Christian is set by God to run the race, but many who are not serious about God's eternal reward will eventually end up with dead works and will lose their rewards and it will go to some other worthy person who ran the race with his whole heart (Rev 3:11).

Again you might ask me, 'What if the race God has given is too hard and long which is not comfortable and then we choose to run our own race by our own rules? Will we win the prize still? Will God give us another race which will be comfortable?' No it is one race that God gives to a particular person for life, if we miss that one there can be no other race. But there are various levels of victory which can be achieved, it is good, acceptable and perfect will of God which is like getting bronze, silver and gold medal prize that people get in Olympics (Rom 12:2). God is not interested in giving us comfort rather He is much interested in seeing our Character to become lined up more and more like that of Jesus (Rom 8:28-29). The more we give our self to the will of God, the more it will bring a blessedness upon us on earth and reward for eternity ahead.

If we run the race with our own self-will and not the will of God, we will surely lose our reward. And also if we are running another person's race which God has not designed for us, then we will lose the race and will not win the prize. God rewards only those people who run the race according to his instruction for them and not for those who do a foul run according to their own desires and rules (1 Cor 9:27). We can discipline and know the personal will of God for our lives when we start to discipline our body and its own will by allowing ourselves to be ruled through the word of God (2 Tim 3:16-17). THE SOONER WE RUN THE RACE ACCORDING TO GOD'S WILL OF HIS WORD, THE BETTER WE WILL BE POSITIONED TO WIN ALL THE PRIZE GOD HAS PREPARED FOR US. Much Blessings.....
