Today's Bible Verse To Ponder Over

✞◎∂αƴ❝ṧ ฿їßℓε Ṽℯґṧℯ ✞ℴ ℙøηḓℯґ ϴṽ℮я :

"For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is His mercy toward those who fear Him" (Ps.103:11).

Mercy! Mercy! Mercy! One of the sweetest word in heaven and it must be the sweetest on earth too, because the moment a person begins to understand the great mercies of the Lord, from that very moment those recipient of the mercies who have come to realize it will never be the same in their thankfulness towards God. Some one taught me vividly, the difference between mercy and grace.

Mercy is that which God does not give what we deserve, Grace is something that which God gives us what we do not deserve. We deserve hell fire, but God gives us heaven by His promise as a gift. Our sins deserves death, but God forgives us each time and gives us a hand of friendship instead as his child. That is mercies. We do not deserve all the gifts of life and salvation, but God has given it all as a free gift for His Glory. That is God's grace!

God clearly reveals that as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is His mercies towards those who fear Him. How high is the heavens above the earth actually? The clear answer is, infinite miles high. So the mercies of the Lord, is so infinite when it is revealed by God. God gives and gives and forgives. We humans, get and get and forget. What a pitiful sight when we come to realize this fact. But thank God, that God doesn't just make us his children and leave us in our miry clay of sinfulness, but He does help us transform ourselves in to His image and character more and more to make us a testimony to the world around us. Hallelujah!

Let us pray dear Saints: Dear Heavenly Father, I thank you and praise you for what we have been made in to (i.e.) as a child of God and called in to a heavenly call to live as heavenly saints on earth for the Glory of God. Help us to be thankful and praising you for your grace and mercies all the time. We love you and help us live pleasing to you as a testimony to the world around us to reveal your glory. In Jesus name. Amen!

"If we say the mercies of the Lord is infinite, then how much more the grace of God has been infinitely showered on us day by day increasingly in Christ Jesus now and for eternity!" — Abraham Israel
