"The twin trick that all the devil uses to restrain the spiritual growth of all believers is to first try to make them doubt the word of God and His goodness, if they do not succeed in that, they always try to bring more and more discouragement through their insidious work through the world which is directly under its suggestive command to fulfill its whims and fancies. To over come both these things victoriously and come out in flying colors of faith, we have to be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might by encouraging ourselves in the Lord through choosing to rejoice in the promises of God and be grateful to Him for what He has done for us in the past. To trust in our past feelings pulls our faith down and brings fear in to us, but standing on the promises of God gives us victory and brings the future heavenly feeling in to our present time bringing a part of heaven in to our lives to enjoy now. Trust in God's faithfulness and distrust in fleshly feelings will keep the live link of the power of God from heaven to be intact and flowing to keep us in God's strength which will make us reign in God's power and courage over our negative situations when we do these basics!
