Art of Living #44

Åґ☂ ◎ḟ ʟ☤√ḯη❡ #44 : "And we also [especially] thank God continually for this, that when you received the message of God [which you heard] from us, you welcomed it not as the word of [mere] men, but as it truly is, the Word of God, which is effectually at work in you who believe [exercising its superhuman power in those who adhere to and trust in and rely on it]." (1Th 2:13, AMP).
Ѧ℘☺﹩☂◎łḯ¢ €ϰ℘øüηḓ : The Bible says that "the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." (Heb 4:12). Even though many christians forget that the word of God is loaded with power to discern the thoughts and intents of the human heart, those who realize its power are those who start to enjoy the benefits of the word of God in their daily lives. We will never ever be able to spiritually grow in our lives without the word of God. To be really spiritual is to get skilled in the word of righteousness in such a way that we will supernaturally be able to discern the voice of God that comes directly to our spirit-man, it is the meat of the revelation of the word of God that comes from the throne of God (Heb 5:13). See a baby can only be fed with milk and it need to grow more and more to become mature in order to take the solid food. Solid food to the babies may cause indigestion or even it may cause severe stomach ache and further complications. The same thing applies in the spiritual world. If we have not not tasted the good word of God and through it have not experienced the powers of the heavenly age to come (Heb 6:5), then we will be a powerless puppet christians before our enemy Satan and his demons. THE VOICE OF GOD KEEPS US UPDATED OF ALL THE ENEMIES DECEPTIVE PLANS AGAINST US.

One thing we must all understand is that God never stops to speak to us (Matt 4:4). It may be through different ways according to our spiritual capacity God speaks to us, but it is we who are unspiritual many times fail to hear and understand God. The word of God clearly says, "14 For God may speak in one way, or in another, yet man does not perceive it. 15 In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls upon men, while slumbering on their beds, 16 Then He opens the ears of men, and seals their instruction. 17 In order to turn man from his deed, and conceal pride from man, 18 He keeps back his soul from the Pit, and his life from perishing by the sword." (Job 33:14-18). In other words, God knows that if we fail to understand the word of God and thus use it to discern and destroy the deception of Satan in our soulish heart, the same sword of the Spirit which is the word of God will one day judge our wicked motives to humble us for etenity as a poor rewardless person or if someone is not saved it will send them directly to the pit where godless wicked souls will suffer without God because of not believing the word of God when they lived on earth (1 Cor 4:5; 1 Thess 2:4; John 12:48; Eph 6:17; Luke 16:31). SO ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IN OUR CHRISTIAN LIFE IS TO USE THE WORD OF GOD TO REASON AND EXERCISE THE SPRITUAL SENSES IN US TO DISCERN BOTH GOOD AND EVIL (Heb 5:14). THE VOICE OF SELF, GOD AND THE DEVILS CAN BE IDENTIFIED IN OUR SOUL ONLY THROUGH REASONING OF THE WORD OF GOD THROUGH THE SPIRIT OF GOD WHO WORKS IN US CONSTANTLY WHEN WE KEEP FEEDING OURSELVES WITH THE WORD OF GOD PERPETUALLY. When God speaks to our spirit-man, it is up to us to identify His Voice through our spiritual reasoning senses which we can develop through using the word of God constantly. God and His word are one. When what we hear is inline with the word of God, it is the voice of God to us.

The word of God works powerfully only in those who believe it, adhere to and trust in and rely on it constantly in their thoughts. It is God who quickens and sends his word in the present now-realm of our existence to meet all our needs through the men and women of God who are his ambassadors and messengers. So we must hear the word of God from them as though it has come from God and we should believe it immediately to exercise its power in us. Those who receive the word of God with meekness will experience the power of the word of God to save all the sin affected areas of their soul (James 1:21). Sin shall not have dominion over them because they will have believed the word of God from the bottom of their hearts (Rom 6:14). Day after day they will develop a godly beautiful mind inside them to experience life at its best. They will be able to perpetually experience God's power as a believer and will be thankful for God's deliverance and will be praising all the time which will defeat the evil schemes of the devil and his demons that works against them (John 10:10). Believing is like a farmer taking the seed which has the power and potential to sprout, and then sow it on the ground. THE WORD OF GOD WHEN IT IS BELIEVED AND SOWN IN OUR HEARTS HAS THE POTENTIAL TO RELEASE ITS POWER AND BLESS US TO BE A BLESSING TO MANY. Are you ready? You are asking me for what, to believe the word of God and experience its power to make us grow spiritually day by day to reach the full age maturity very soon.

"The inspiration of the sacred Scriptures, as the very world of God, is manifest by their majesty, their purity; the consent of all their parts, by their light and power to convince and convert sinners, to edify and comfort believers, and to build them up in the character that prepares for full salvation." — Thomas Boston

ℳαηηα ḟøґ тℌℯ Ðα¥ : "For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom be glory forever." (Romans 11:36, NKJV).

If only we could agree with the word of God and say to Jesus, "Dear Lord, You have made us all through your own will for yourself to whom be our glory, praise and honor forever and ever," surely and steadily we will be able to enjoy the purpose of our life more and more with Jesus, in whom we are all hidden to find life at its best.

Art of Living #43

Åґ☂ ◎ḟ ʟ☤√ḯη❡ #43 : "Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him." (James.1:12).
Ѧ℘☺﹩☂◎łḯ¢ €ϰ℘øüηḓ : Many times in my life I have asked the Lord this question, "Lord, you know that until temptation comes to me I confidently say I love you and I will stand with you against sin, but when the moment of temptation arrives suddenly my mind malfuntions to do the same thing that I promised that I will not do. Why? Please help me!" Even one of the greatest apostolic missionary had this dilemma when he expressed what was happening in his spiritual life when he tried to walk in the perfection of God's power to overcome sinful tendencies. Here is what he says, "14 For we know that the law is spiritual, but I am carnal, sold under sin. 15 For what I am doing, I do not understand. For what I will to do, that I do not practice; but what I hate, that I do. 16 If, then, I do what I will not to do, I agree with the law that it is good. 17 But now, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me." (Rom 7:14-17). We do not understand what we are doing in the moment of our temptation and trials because our carnal soulish nature have been sold under sin to the evil tickling and instigating thought control of the world system of governance of which Satan is the god for this age (2 Cor 4:4). But take heart, we have not been left like that without hope. But a new way of living has been introduced to overcome this evil tendencies that works in us to self-destruction (Heb 10:20). This is why the greatest enemy to ourselves is neither any demons nor any wicked persons living in this evil world, but it is none other than ourselves (James 1:14-15). If we are saved from self, then we can be useful to God and live the rest of our lives for HIS GLORY!

The call from Jesus primarily is not to get saved from sin, but to get saved from self by choosing to embrace courageously the cross of God's custom designed trial for our lives, deny ourselves and follow him (Luke 9:23). This we cannot do it by our strength as we have already seen, but when we realise our wretchedness of being lost in sin by our own strength, God will choose to deliver us from this body of death through Jesus Christ our Lord. So even though we struggle and do sin because of the soulish flesh, we will be able to thank God for the victory that will always come progressively more and more with the spiritual mind that serves the law of God (Rom 7:24-25). I believe that the greatest prayer we can do to God in this planet earth is "Help me!". God loves to help us when we ask for it and He hates when people with their pride think that they can help themselves. By the way, 'God helps those who help themselves.' is not Biblical but a worldly proverb that aligns people diametrically opposite to the will of God.

Abundant life is that life of freedom and love that God lives in heaven, and it is eternal in its entirety. I believe that the freedom of abundant life that Jesus promised is getting saved from our selfish attitude of 'I, Me and My self' instead of a godly attitude of 'We, You and Ourselves' (Matt 11:28-30; John 10:10). Humility and meekness is what will make us grow perpetually in this abundant heavenly life of God that Jesus provides for us. The army, navy and airforce of a nation selects people for their citizenship but promotes for their hard work, courage and efficiency. The same applies in the kingdom of God too, we are saved to serve God because God has given to us His heavenly citizenship in His kingdom (Phil 3:20), but we will be rewarded individually the 'Crown of Life' according to how much of God's heavenly life we were able to live out, enjoy and display to others while we were on earth. SO LOVE GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, MIND, SOUL AND STRENGTH AND AUTOMATICALLY YOU WILL RECEIVE HIS ABUNDANT HEAVENLY LIFE WHICH FREES YOU FROM SELF AND WILL MAKE YOU OVERCOME SIN'S POWER OVER YOUR SOUL LIFE (Matt 22:37-38). It is not in us to overcome the lure of temptation, but it is in Him who is in us who helps us overcome and live abundant life on earth as it is in heaven. We truly will learn to enjoy life and overcome temptation when we learn to love God!

"We are always in the forge, or on the anvil; by trials God is shaping us for higher things." — Henry Ward Beecher
