Manna for the Day

ℳαηηα ḟøґ тℌℯ Ðα¥ : "For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also." (James 2:26, NKJV).

Dead bodies cannot speak, see, smell, eat, walk or hear anything. So also if our spiritual faith does not move us to live like our God who is in heaven, then it is not a real faith but a counterfeit. So we ought to be careful enough to check whether our faith is genuine or not through the change, transformation and fruit that we will be able to see in our lives (Matt 7:18). If you find out that your faith is not genuine, immediately seek God for the real one that saves you for eternity ahead by the power of God through Jesus Christ (2 Cor 13:5-6; Heb 5:9). Until you know that you are saved for eternity don't give God rest, God will always answer a desperate man immediately unlike for half hearted seekers. The Holy Spirit will speak and confirm your salvation in the inner most being of your spirit-man inside you (Rom 8: 16; 1 John 3:24).

Apostolic Expound

Ѧ℘☺﹩☂◎łḯ¢ €ϰ℘øüηḓ :"The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise." (Psa 51:17).

Broken heart and a broken spirit are the inheritance of those who sincerely want to do the will of God for their lives. When we walk in the will of God, we will face demonic opposition that will break us. When we walk in the will of God, we will have to face temptations that might seriously cause us to grieve when we fail in it and humbly learn to approach the throne of grace to overcome it in our lives. When we are broken by our limitation and weaknesses, that is the place where we will learn what it is to be humble before God and men. How does God respond to the humble people? He responds by giving them much grace and lifts them up to LIVE IN HIS GLORY (James 4:6)! In other words, when we come humbly before God expressing our inability to please Him with our own strength, He will never say 'no' to give His power abundantly and to make us walk like He walked on earth. We can only go with God as far as we are humble. May the Lord help us to stay humble and live in His Glory and for His Glory all the days of our life.
